What we collect
We collect the answers you give in the nutrition assessment (food preferences, cooking habits, household size, goals and any notes you write), your email address and name if you create an account, records of purchases you make, and basic product analytics such as which pages and steps were used. We do not ask for medical records, and we ask you not to send us clinical information.
How we use it
- To build your nutrition profile, meal plans, recipes and grocery lists.
- To give you access to what you've purchased and show your purchase history.
- To send transactional messages such as order confirmations and password resets.
- To understand which parts of the product are used, in aggregate.
Analytics
We record product events such as "assessment started" or "plan generated" together with an anonymous session identifier. We do not store your assessment answers or any free-text notes inside analytics events.
Sharing
We share data only with the service providers needed to run NutritionMe: our hosting and database provider, our payment processor (which handles card details directly — we never see or store your card number), and the AI provider that generates recipe text from your preferences. We do not sell your data.
Your data, your control
You can view and change your preferences at any time in your account settings. To request a copy of your data or deletion of your account, contact us through the contact page and we will action it.
Security
Your data is stored in an access-controlled database where each record is restricted to your own account. Payments are processed by a PCI-compliant provider.
