Weekly meal planning that survives a real schedule

A weekly plan only works if it survives contact with a real calendar. Build the week around the evenings you'll actually cook.

Check the week first

Look at which evenings are tight before choosing recipes. Plan the quick meals for those nights.

Cook once, eat twice

Choose at least one meal that doubles as tomorrow's lunch. It removes a decision and reduces waste.

Leave a gap

Plan six dinners instead of seven. The spare night covers leftovers, takeaway or a change of plan without breaking the plan.
